Mission 2: Flight

40k Combat Patrol Tournament

Scenario and objectives writeup:

Clarifications

Determining if half the Defender's army has exited the table is done by units, rounding down. What counts as a unit follows standard Kill Points rules; i.e., dedicated transports count for both the army size and as exited units. For example, a Space Marine army made of 4 Tactical Squads and 3 Rhinos would be 7 units, so any 3 would need to exit to obtain the Major Victory.

Note that following the KP rules means that spawned, released, or summoned units, such as Tau Drones or Chaos Spawn, as well as reincarnated units, such as Termagaunts granted Without Number or returning Penal Conscripts, are generally all worth a Kill Point unless specifically noted otherwise in their rules. A defender bringing on these units then increases their army's Kill Points, potentially increasing the number of their units that have to exit the board. Oddities regarding Kill Points for Tau Drones and other units are discussed in the INAT FAQ.

The victory conditions are mutually exclusive, in the obvious descending order. For example, it is possible that half the Defender units (rounding down) could have exited the table, while the Attacker also earned more Kill Points than that. The Defender would get the Major Victory, and the Attacker would not get the Minor Victory.

Assault Phase movements, such as for Jet Pack Infantry, are included in the permitted "moving" for Defender units to exit off the board.

You must use the same army list as both the Attacker and Defender.
