I was talking about this over the weekend, a program that simulates physics to play boardgames:

It's like Vassal, except 3D and with actual physics so you can do things like drop pieces in place, bounce them off each other, etc.

I haven't played with it at all, but today I learned that there's quite a few 40k items available to play with:

A lot of the models are pretty good, they must have been ripped from one of the official videogames.

So, if you've ever thought about playing around with Vassal (I've only ever used it to make diagrams, not to actually play games), this is basically the modern, easier to install & run version.
