I can help with non-ruin terrain as well. However, I think the problem with non-ruin stuff is that it can't block LoS as well, and that's an extra important consideration for Apoc games IMO.

I left a couple of pink foam sheets (2 sizes of thickness) @ Joe's house during the Mortalis hobby build day. They could be "hot cut" into nice size LOS blocking hills :!: :!:

Colin I'll get back to your for help with painting terrain I have. Thanks for the offer.

Tom, I meant that I could help provide terrain, but I'd probably be down for a painting day or two to help you get your stuff ready, too.

Would be happy to assist with some terrain. If we're going Degobah/Catachan, would redwood-style tree trunks work, maybe hollow ones with some ground level entry/exit points.
40k: Dark Angels, Sisters
30k: Taghmata
Warmachine: Iron Kingdoms RPG-curious
AD&D 1e: campaign underway

Yes please! And maybe some stands of aquarium plant forests. I think it would be great to mix this in with the fantasy terrain so it doesn't feel like you're playing 40k on a WHFB table.

I'm in. Are we trying to do some kind of cohesive terrain look for the board this year? If so what might that be?

The optimistic goal is to do some kind of backwater planet, hopefully moving away from city fights this year. Your chaos temple setup will fit right in & be a great base to start from.

Showcase used to have these nice rock formations that were really tall. Just pink foam I am guessing. Imagine a formation made out of two inch wide parts all stuck together but flat on the top. More likea mesa really but each two inch area was a different height. They played it that the tops were connected no matter how different the heights were so you could actually move across the feature in the game. That would be the ticket for Apoc as you could have terrain you could hide a titan behind or hide from a titan behind. Anyway they would work with a jungle/dagoba theme and would be fairly easy to get together.
