Is the Bucther of Khador coming out?
Are the tree hunting fairies going to venture out from their lonely shrinking land?
Are the crazed infidels (oops I mean lunatic) going to purify and preach the word of "he who will remain nameless "?
And for all the other factions beware the "GENERAL".

General AWESOME may make an appearance if you all are worthy enough to be crushed by him!     !!!!!!

There have not been any new FAQs published by GW, BL or FW so there will be no addendum to the rules pack for the MechaniCon 40K Grand Tournament.

Well, another great Mechanicon is under our belts thanks to James, Tony and the rest of the Gaming Garage guys. I played in the Friday Night Fight as well as the GT. Long story short, I went 1-1 on Friday and finished in 4th. Since there were only six people, and pairing up or down would have led to me playing one of my first two opponents again in an inconsequential match up. I still got one of those GW lasrifle power pack dice/objective sets though. For the GT, I started and ended with crushing losses (the first at the hands of one of those White Scar/Space Wolf Death Stars o' Doom), but I got three wins in between, finishing 3-2 for 22nd overall (out of 36th). Painting and sportsmanship together were worth as much as battle points, so my "eBay special" Land Raiders and zombies didn't do me any favors there. Regardless, I had five really good games against some great opponents though, even the first guy with the ridiculous net list. It was also nice to hang out and play some games with you guys, John, Carl (and Dan).

I will try to write some quick battle reports later if I have a chance...
40K: Chaos Marines/Demons (15,000+ pts), Catachans, Angels of Death, Orks & Crons
KoW: Abyssal Dwarves, Goblins, Ogres & Dwarves
Infinity: Caledonians
WM: Menoth
Dust: Axis & SSU
FoW: Ger. Grenadiers & Armoured Sqdrn.
BB: Undead

2-3 overall, although later realized it should have been 3-2. One of my opponents and I scored one of our games incorrectly, but realized about an hour after we finished the game. After discussing with the judge, we opted to just leave it as is.
