Fantasy Flight holiday sale

It's time for the Fantasy Flight holiday sale again:

http://store.fantasyflightgames.com/cli ... e2013.cfm/

It's a weird selection of stuff that's on sale but there are some really good deals. I picked up the Horus Heresy board game for $35 (retails $100) and there are a bunch of DUST models (Colin) and 40kRPG books (Lovell) on sale as well.

Did you order yet? Looking to see if we can combine shipping to reduce the shipping cost.

Thanks, Jason. Now I'm combing through my Dust Warfare books trying to build an army so I can buy it! Those prices are too good to pass up...

Well, Brett just built a 300 pt Allied list for Dust Warfare, and not to be outdone, I added about 400 pts of Axis troops for DW. I came really close to buying a complete SSU army, too, but I figured I should probably play the game before making that much of an investment...

Some quick comments on the boardgames up for sale:

- I thought Age of Conan made an appearance a couple times at PAGE and was well received.

- Chaos Marauders is a reimplementation of the GW game from the late '80s. The remake is supposed to be a pretty solid small card game. At $5 you basically can't go wrong if you're at all interested.

- Similar on Letter of Marquee. $5, a very good designer (Faidutti), and neat little plastic ship minis, can't go wrong.

- Horus Heresy, as noted, is on an extravagant sale.

- Nexus Ops is probably the big win though. It's a light combat game that a lot of guys here might be interested in. I've only played once, really liked it, and it's generally regarded as excellent. The original was by Avalon Hill not that long ago, went out of print, prices went insane on ebay and such, and I guess FF made too many when they brought it back. I'm not sure which edition's production I like more, but they're both solid, and the minis paint up well if you're into that. At $25 this is probably well worth it.
