Re: Capelli's

Pretty sure I said this last week. :) And as far as buying that place, if the rumors are true...that guy is made of money and will be dying in his store on Market St. From what I understand, he owned the property that was eventually The Gallery. Sure it's closed now, but that money has been rolling ...

Re: First Turn Assault !!

It would appear that GW is breaking/ignoring their own turn one no assault rule intentions with some of the newer codex/detachment supplements. Pardon me if I'm the only one annoyed or confused here. I should get out more to play 40K :!: This is really nothing new...codex rules overriding BRB rules...

Re: First Turn Assault !!

Doesnt the cult formation explicitly state that the models can assault turn one even if they infiltrate?

I pass there an average of 2x a day...but I will certainly check on the way back to work and follow-up.

As for him walking out while you were there...its no suprise. He has some personality issues for sure...but when he feels like sharing, he has the answers.

Re: June 25+26: LibertyHammer---A 40k Narrative Event

Anyone else in need of a partner for this. Let me rephrase I guess...anyone in desperate need of a partner. :) I am itching to get back into the game, but need a target date and some direction. This even could give me both. Next is just some warm-up games between now and then. Barring this, let me k...

Re: Operations Other Than War(hammer)

I have been trying to get in some skirmish gaming as a warm-up to get back into the groove...Necromunda seems to have been a false start for me, but Infinity seems to be gaining momentum. Any shot someone will be out this Sunday to give me a demo? Also, I have zero models at this point and toyed wit...

Re: Operations Other Than War(hammer)

I've been watching this thread like my grandfather drives... sitting in an empty parking lot, in Park, with my turn signal on. That said, I've been getting some practice games of Strange Aeons in and building and painting stuff for that. Outside of that, there is a backlog of Bushido and some other...

Re: Operations Other Than War(hammer)

I actually don't think there are any in Philadelphia any more. Capelli's Hobbies was basically 50% trains/50% military models, but they closed last year. I don't believe Allied Hobbies up in the Northeast, actually the hobby shop I used to go to as a kid, carries trains anymore in any serious amoun...

Re: Skyhammer Formation

I may just do Imperial Knights just to get back with limited data sheets to be concerned with. (Famous last words?)
